How I Found My Moving Comfort Bra

If you’ve been reading through my pages, then you’re already know I have tired many different sports bras over the years.  From the time I was in the military, working out, sports, and even as a hard working mom, I’ve gone through my share of bras that were practically worthless.

I actually tried and wore about two dozen different bras.  And as you can see by my blog, they were quite unsuitable for any woman who is the least bit physically active.

After leaving the Marine Corps, I still was looking for a comfortable bra that didn’t look like your standard military issue.  After about the first dozen tries, I found and tried a Moving Comfort Bra.  It quickly became one of my favorite  bras, and the Fiona Bra style was definitely not harsh like a military bra.

First, for a very good supporting bra, the Moving Comfort Bra was very lightweight.  The straps and supporting bands were very comfortable, and the bra was secured by three hooks instead of a more traditional two.  Not only did I get the support and comfort that I wanted, it also provided a nice shapley figure, as opposed to some of the “one-boob” look from being squeezed in by some other so-called sports bras.

When I first started to wear this bra, it costs around $45 dollars.  However, as of Jul 29, 2010, I have seen this as low as $24 at Amazon (See the ad here).  It’s a bit on the more expensive side, and the Champion Sports bra might be an alternative if the expense is going to prohibit you from getting the best sports bra for you.  However, the Moving Comfort model holds up very well through multiple washings.  I generally don’t pub my sports bras in the dryer because I understand that the heat from the dryer is not good for the sports bra fabrics.

On the down side, this particular model appears more bra-like, and some women will not wear it by itself like they do some other sports bra.  However, Moving Comfort offers several other models, and just like women’s breast size, there are many different ones to choose from.
